As the holiday season approaches, Machen McChesney invites our clients and friends to join us in a Month of Giving. As we celebrate 70 years of service in our community, we are committed to supporting two local organizations in need.

The Domestic Violence Intervention Center (DVIC) has been a vital resource since 1980, serving five counties: Chambers, Lee, Macon, Randolph, and Tallapoosa. Their mission is to eliminate violence in the lives of men, women, and children. They are currently seeking donations of toys, clothing, and coats for individuals of all ages, including adults. 

The Big House Foundation was founded in 2009 as the dream of two college students to positively impact the world of foster care. Big House now focuses on the mission to connect foster families' needs with the community's generosity. They need diaper sizes 3, 4, and 5. Pull-ups size 2T/3T and 4T/5T. Baby wash and baby shampoo. Kid's shampoo+conditioner and body wash as well as detangler or wet brushes.  During the holiday season, they host Santa's Workshop. This event provides Christmas presents to kids in need. All toys or items suitable for teens are welcome. Click here to see their wish list.

All donations can be dropped off at Machen McChesney until December 6, 2024. If you have a preference for which organization you would like to support, please indicate that on the donation.
